India, China troops to hold commander-level meet today

The Indian and Chinese troops will be conducting a commander-level meeting at 11 am on Sunday in Moldo which is the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control.

An NDTV report stated this morning that this will be the fifth round of discourse between the countries, "in an attempt to defuse tensions following a clash between the nations in June in which 20 Indian soldiers were killed in action". India will stress on "complete disengagement" by China in Ladakh's Finger area, army sources confirmed today, the report added.
