JEE, NEET 2020: HRD ministry to review exam dates

Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' on Thursday said a committee chaired by the Director-General of the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been formed to review and make recommendations regarding the conduct of Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2020), and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET 2020) due to the outbreak of the pandemic.

Expecting delay of the engineering and medical entrance exams, students, have been demanding clarification on JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020. On the release of this announcement, the students have expressed relief.

The two entrance exams are scheduled in July and the students have been demanding a further postponement of the two exams due to the rising figures of COVID-19.
