JNU Violence: Delhi Police Receives 3 more complaints

The Delhi Police has received three more complaints in connection with last week's violence on Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus, officials said on Friday.

A totalof 14 complaints have been received so far in connection with the incident thattook place on January 5 when masked men barged into the varsity premises andthrashed students and teachers, a senior police officer said.

The police officer saidthat all these 14 complaints are beinginvestigated by the Crime Branch which is probing Sunday's violence on the campus.

Earlier,police had received 11 complaints in connection with the violence. Out ofthese, one complaint was lodged by a teacher while the others were lodged bythe students.

"Sofar, we have received 14 complaints and others, if received, will be forwardedto the Crime Branch for investigation," the officer said.
