Journalist Shot At In Front of Daughters, Dies

The Uttar Pradesh-based journalist, who was shot at near his residence in Ghaziabad ( a part of NCR region) by a group of miscreants on Monday night, breathed his last today.

Vikram Joshi, the deceased journalist, was being shot at in front of his two daughters. A group of men surrounded him at around 10:30 at night when he was travelling on a two-wheeler with his two daughters and shot the journalist point-blank after assaulting him.

The gruesome attack was captured on CCTV footage.

The Police have arrested nice persons in the case so far. Two policemen have also been suspended.

The hideous attack on the journalist in front of his two daughters came four days after he had filed a police complaint about his niece being harassed by some men.
