Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

If reports are to be believed, HD Kumaraswamy and PM Modi met to discuss on the lines of the recently formed Cauvery Water Management Authority, for the much debated Cauvery water dispute that has been going on for years now.

Other important discussions during the meeting were reportedly held on the issue of shortage of coal for Karnataka's thermal power plants as well.

HD Kumaraswamy also met Union Water Resources Minister Nitin Gadkari earlier in the day,
