Kerala coronavirus patient stable: Minister

KeralaHealth Minister KK Shailaja said that the patient who tested positive forcoronavirus is currently stable. She further informed that another person hasbeen admitted to Thrissur General Hospital with symptoms of coronavirus.

Shailajaheld a high-level meeting at Thrissur Medical College after one positive caseof coronavirus was detected in the State. Earlier, a positive case of Novelcoronavirus has been detected in the Thrissur district and the patient was keptin an isolation ward.

"Thepatient who had returned from Wuhan (China) and had tested positive forcoronavirus is stable. She may be shifted to Thrissur Medical College from Thrissurgeneral hospital today," Shailaja said, adding, "Another person has beenadmitted to Thrissur General Hospital with symptoms of coronavirus. 15 personsare under surveillance in the State."

It maybe mentioned here that the Centre has issued a travel advisory, asking peopleto refrain from traveling to China. The Novel Coronavirus has so far claimed170 lives in China.
