Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari on Saturdayevening invited BJP leader and Maharashtra's caretaker Chief Minister DevendraFadnavis to form the government.

According to reports, Governor Koshiyari askedFadnavis to indicate the willingness and ability of his party to form thegovernment.

It may be mentioned here that Fadnavis is the legislatureparty leader of the BJP and the BJP is the single largest party in the Stateafter the Assembly Election.

Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena once again targetted the BJP for "not​ honouring" the "commitment" over sharing of the Chief Minister's post and ministerial portfolios. However, the BJP continued to say no assurances were given over sharing of power.
