A total of 303 personnel of the Maharashtra Police have tested positive for Covid-19, while five succumbed to the infection in the last 24 hours, said an official on Friday.

The current death toll in the police force has risen to 136 after the latest casualties.

The state police have reported a total of 13,180 cases with 2,389 active cases and 10,655 recoveries.

Maharashtra currently has a total of 1,62,806 active covid cases, 4,59,124 recoveries and 21,359 deaths.
