As per reports, the blaze spread in the New Field Check Gate area around 11:30 am this morning.
Fire tenders were able to reach the spot and doused the unprecedented fire. The cause of the fire however is yet to be ascertained.
Property worth lakhs of lakhs were destroyed in the fire. No casualty was reported.
