Ministers’ absence from Parliament irks Modi

Angryover the ministers who are not sticking to the roster duty in parliament, PrimeMinister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reportedly took serious cognizance.

During the party's parliamentary party meeting in New Delhi today, PM Modi raised the issue and asked the ministers to remain present in the House.

"Thereare complaints that ministers remain absent during their roster duties. PrimeMinister asked for their names by the evening and said that serious cognizancewill be taken," a BJP MP was quoted as saying by ANI.

Itmay be mentioned here that several opposition leaders have raised the issue ofministers being absent from the house during the ongoing session of theParliament.

Meanwhile,PM Modi also asked the BJP MPs to focus on social works rather than onlyinvolving in politics.
