Missing Mumbai Toddler Remains Untraceable

The 3 years old child who fell into an open drain in Mumbai(EAST) ON Wednesday night, remains untraceable even after 34 hours ofcontinuous rescue operations.

It is feared that the boy has been washed away, however, BRIHANMUMBAIMUNICIPAL CORPORATION (BMC) NDRF and Mumbai police personnel continue therescue operation.

The officials are now opening each and every manhole in the drainage linesand are trying to locate the child.

A drone was brought in by the officials but could not be launched due to theheavy flow of water and narrow drainage

The officials are hopeful of finding thechild.             

It may be mentioned here that a CCTV footage of Wednesday night revealedthat a 3 years old boy at Ambedkar Chowk in Mumbai East fell into an open drainat around 10 pm. The incident came to light only after the child's motherraised an alarm after failing to find him.
