Prime Minister Narendra Modi begins his mega roadshow in Varanasi by garlanding the statue of Madan Mohan Malviya  right opposite the main entrance of the Banaras Hindu University.

Modi has arrived on Varanasi for his roadshow.  Modi's 6-km-long roadshow will conclude at Dashashwamedh Ghat where he will participate in Ganga aarti.

As per a press release issued by the BJP, top leaders from alliance parties will be present in Varanasi during his nomination program on Friday.
