Mumbai: 8 Dead, Many Feared Trapped In Building Collapse

In an unfortunate incident on Monday morning, eight people were killed and around 20 were feared trapped after a three-storeyed building collapsed in Mumbai's Bhiwandi.

So far, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescued about 25 people from inside the rubble of the building. A child was also among the rescued.

The incident took place at around 3:40 AM in the morning.

Around 20 families were reportedly staying inside the building which was reportedly 40 years old.

Rescue operations are currently underway.
