Mumbai to Receive More Rainfall in Next 2-3 days

The financial capital of India-Mumbai has observedheavy rainfall in some parts during the last 24 hours. But the intensity of thedownpour was not even.

According to reports of Skymet, Colaba recorded 6.2 mm while Santa Cruz recorded 41.3 mm of rain. The weather forecast has predicted that the region is likely to receive more rainfall in the next 2-3 days with the temperature oscillating between 24 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius.

The Skymet further said September started on a good note for the city with instances of record rainfall multiple times. "On many occasions, 3 digit showers of rain was recorded in the city, which was more than double the normal figure. Between September 10 and 11, the rainfall activity in the city subsided to a large extent. But thereafter, the weather changed again in Mumbai and moderate rains lashed the city," Skymet said.

According to the report, the national capital and its nearby regions such as Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida and Ghaziabad are also likely to receive heavy downpour other than Mumbai for the next two days.

However, these rains would be localized and would notlast for long and will also not be widespread.
