Nearly 100 cars gutted in Bengaluru fire

Pratidin Bureau

In a massive fire that broke out at the parking lot in Bengaluru, nearly 100 vehicles have been destroyed on Saturday. The fire broke out at the Aero India 2019 venue parking lot.

However, Karnataka Fire Services DGP MN Reddi later said that nearly 100 cars were burnt in the fire. He further informed that the fire was under control and no casualties were reported. "The fire spread rapidly due to dry grass and strong winds," Reddi added.

Notably, Indian Air Force's Suryakiran Aerobatic Team crashed after a mid-air collision over the same air base that killed one of the three pilots. The air show will conclude on Sunday.
