Newborn named after Cyclone Fani

A baby girl born on Friday in Bhubaneswar in Odishahas been named after the "extremely severe cyclonic storm" Fani. Thebaby was born at a Railway Hospital at 11:03 am on Friday.

The 32-year-old mother is a railway employee. Sheworks as a helper at Coach Repair Workshop, Mancheswar.

The mother and the newborn baby are reported to behealthy.

While sharing a photo of the baby along with the doctors, news agency ANI said, "A 32-year-old woman gave birth to a baby girl in Railway Hospital today at 11:03 AM. Baby has been named after the cyclonic storm, Fani. The woman is a railway employee, working as a helper at Coach Repair Workshop, Mancheswar. Both the mother&child are fine."

While many people welcomed the baby girl's arrivaland prayed for her well being on Twitter.
