Nigeria: Pirates “abduct” 5 Indian sailors, confirms Sushma Swaraj

Taking to Twitter, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has confirmed that five Indian sailors, posted in Nigeria, have been "abducted" by pirates.

It may be noted that the Union Minister also asked the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria to prepare a report on the incident.

Reportedly, it has been more than two weeks since the abduction of the sailors and their families have informed that they have been unable to contact them for days.
