Nuclear-capable Agni-IV missile successfully test-fired

The indigenous built intercontinental ballistic missile Agni-IV has been test fired Sunday morning from Abdul Kalam Island near Dhamra Port in Odisha. This is a part of regular test, informed authorities.

Describing the trial as a "complete success", defence sources said all mission objectives were met during the test-fire. All radars, tracking systems and range stations tracked and monitored the flight performance of the missile, which was launched with support of a mobile launcher.

During the test, DRDO scientists and top-level defence officials were present and monitored the movement of missile.
