Officials detained for stealing Kerala flood relief materials

While everyone is coming forward to stand with Kerala flood victims, two government officials of Kerala were held for allegedly stealing relief materials on Friday in Panamaram village of Wayanad district. As per reports, local residents of a relief camp in the district managed to expose the two government officials when they were loading relief materials into a vehicle.

After being caught in the action, the officials tried to convince the locals that they didn't try to steal the relief materials. However, police has confirmed that they lied to protect themselves from the agitated locals. The two accused are S Thomas and MP Dinesh.
