Pakistan arrests Indian fishermen

On Tuesday, 18 Indian fishermen were arrested by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) and they were produced before a judicial magistrate on Thursday by the Docks police.

Pakistan authorities have arrested the fishermen for allegedly fishing in the country's territorial waters.

Two fishing boats of the fishermen were also seized.

On the occasion of independence day of Pakistan, as a gesture of goodwill Pak government released 26 Indian fishermen in Karachi.
