Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the results of Lok Sabha Elections have shown that people are thinking about the development of the country over themselves adding that the spirit is commendable.

Replying to debate on the motion of thanks to the President Ram Nath Kovind's address to the joint sitting of parliament, PM Modi said, the NDA government has begun to move in the right direction, without diversion or dilution.

He further said that the government and opposition have to work together to fulfil the dream of a safe, developed, strong and inclusive nation.
