Pratidin Bureau

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked students of the country to manage time well, stay focused and not to succumb to stress.

"Without worrying about examination results, the students should focus on acquiring knowledge to enrich their lives," said Prime Minister Modi, while interacting with students, parents and teachers from across the country in the second edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha.

PM Modi during the interaction, which came ahead of the examination season, said "Learning cannot be reduced to examinations only but education must equip students to face various challenges of life as well." He further advised students not to lose hope after failing their exams.

Replying to a parent's question, who complained to the PM that her son was avoiding studies and was addicted to online games, the PM said, "PUBG-wala hai kya? (Is he a PUBG gamer?)" The audience roared with laughter. The PM added, "We should encourage our kids to adopt technology; to discuss technology but ensure they don't get controlled by technology."
