PrimeMinister Narendra Modi congratulated Canadian premier Justin Trudeau forreturning to power on Tuesday. Trudeau led Liberal Party returned to power on Mondaybut he will now be primeminister of a minority government.

"Congratulations@JustinTrudeau! India and Canada are connected by shared values and a strongcommitment to democracy as well as plurality. Looking forward to workingtogether to further strengthen bilateral relations," the PM tweeted.

Meanwhile,Trudeau would now require at least 13 legislators from rival parties to form aLiberal Party-led minority government in the 338-seat House of Commons.
