PM Modi to address nation at 4 pm tomorrow

Pratidin Bureau

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation tomorrow at 4 pm.

The PM's office made this announcement through the official twitter and wrote, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation tomorrow at 4 pm."

PM Modi's address will come amid the prevailing tensions between India and China following an ongoing stand-off at Ladakh's Galwan valley.

The prime minister on Sunday addressed the nation through his radio show, Mann Ki Baat, in which he said that had given a befitting response to China on Ladakh issue. He praised the army for showing their valour and fighting against the Chinese troops in Galwan Valley earlier this month.

"We will buy local and be vocal for local and this will help India become stronger," PM Modi said in Mann Ki Baat.

Meanwhile, the Center announced to ban 59 Chinese apps including TikTok, ShareIt and Club Factory. The official order states that decision has been taken as these apps are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of the state and public order.
