Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday afternoon tweeted that he will address the nation at 6 pm today, urging citizens to watch it.

"Will be sharing a message with my fellow citizens at 6 pm this evening," PM Modi wrote in his tweet.

This will be his seventh address since the first lockdown in March, however, the prime minister did not mention about what the address would be about.

Speculations sparked on social media that the prime minister's discourse would likely comprise about the coronavirus situation in the country ahead of festivals and the winter season.
