Prez Ram Nath Kovind Undergoes Surgery In Delhi

President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday underwent a cataract surgery at the Army hospital in New Delhi.

In a statement, a Rashtrapati Bhavan stated, "President Ram Nath Kovind underwent cataract surgery at Army Hospital (Referral and Research), New Delhi today [Thursday] morning. The surgery was successful and he has been discharged from the hospital."

President Ram Nath Kovind, 75, had earlier visited the hospital in March following chest discomfort. 

The President later underwent routine tests and was kept under observation.
