Prime suspect of Jammu grenade blast arrested

The person, who threw the grenade at the Jammu bus stand earlier on Thursday, has been arrested by the police. "We have arrested the person who lobbed the grenad," said DGP Dilbagh Singh. He is identified as Yasir Bhatt.

Police have detained 15 more people in connection with the case.

Meanwhile, a teenager succumbed to injuries and 32 others were injured in the grenade attack in the crowded general bus stand in Jammu. The condition of four more injured persons is said to be critical.

According to Police officials, they along with sniffer dogs and forensic experts rushed to the spot and launched a search operation to nab the attacker.
