Protest outside UN against Pakistan

Pratidin Bureau

People from different country, especially from India held a protest against Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in India as well as in Afghanistan, outside the United Nations (UN) building in New York on Sunday. They also condemned the February 14 Pulwama terror attack.

The protesters demanded that the UN should make Pakistan accountable for Pulwama attack, 26/11 Mumbai attack and other terror attacks in the region. More than 400 people took part in the protest rally.

"Pakistan long has been cancer on the international body politic. It was allowed to get away with sponsored attacks on India for decades," said a protester.

The protesters demanded the UN to declare Pakistan as a global terrorist State and mailed a memorandum to Secretary-General of the UN in this regard.
