PV Sindhu meets PM Modi

Indianbadminton superstar PV Sindhu on Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi afterwinning the BWF World Championships at Basel in Switzerland on Sunday. PM Modicongratulated Sindhu for bringing the gold medal to India.

ThePrime Minister also wished her luck for her future endeavours and called her "India'spride".

Itmay be mentioned here that PV Sindhu became the first Indian to win a WorldChampionship gold medal. She defeated Japan's Nozomi Okuhara by 21-7, 21-7.

After the meeting PM Modi tweeted, "India's pride, a champion who has brought home a Gold and lots of glory!"
