Rahul says no to AAP-Congress alliance

Pratidin Bureau

The AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that there will be no alliance of Congress and AAP in Delhi as Congress chief Rahul Gandhi has refused to stitch an alliance with Kejriwal's party.

"Rahul Gandhi has refused to join hands with the AAP," said Kejriwal in Delhi adding that he had met Rahul recently regarding the possible alliance for the LS polls.

This has been seen as a major breakthrough for the BJP as Kejriwal has been urging the Congress to come to an alliance in Delhi for the Lok Sabha polls to keep the BJP away from power.

Delhi has 7 Lok Sabha seats and it will go to polls on May 12.
