Rajya Sabha Adjourned till 3 PM

The opposition Congress members on Wednesday again disrupted the proceedings in Rajya Sabha over the Karnataka crisis and accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of trying to destabilize the party's coalition government in the state.

According to news agency ANI, the house is adjourned till 3pm.

Soon after Congress members stormed into the well of the House, forcing M Venkaiah Naidu to adjourn proceedings first till noon then till 2 pm.

Naidu,at the start of the proceedings said that he has not admitted notices byCongress members including Kapil Sibal under rule 267 seeking suspension ofrules to take up their issue.

Naidulater told the agitated Congress members to not put democracy in danger. The Congressmembers while protesting, Naidu said them, "You don't want to allow democracyto function here? This prompted members to take their seat and the House tookup Zero Hour where submissions of urgent public important are taken up."
