Security Beefed Up For Narendra Modi’s Oath Taking

Narendra Modi and his team of ministers will be taking oath on Thursday in New Delhi and for the smooth functioning of the event and keep it free from any untoward incident the Delhi police will be deploying around 5,000 personnel which include Delhi police personnel and National Security Guard (NSG) men.

Police sources informed that the New Delhi district is divided into six zones with each zone being monitored by a DCP-rank officer.

Apart from ensuring security, the officer will also make sure that owing to the VVIP movement then normal traffic is not affected.

The security personnel will also make sure that every road has proper signs and symbols so that newly elected members of parliament and other persons attending the oath taking ceremony are not put to any inconvenience in reaching Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Policemen will be deployed at parking lots of every prominent place including five star hotels and shopping malls, apart from strict rooftop monitoring.
