Security personnel detect, defuse IED in J&K

Indian security forces have averted a major possible travesty in Jammu and Kashmir by detecting and defusing a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on the Srinagar-Bandipora road on Saturday, stated a report published by the ANI.

Thedefused bomb consisted of a small cylinder with a timer attached to it, thereport added.  The IED was found near abridge in Bandipore district earlier today.

Thesecurity forces suspended traffic movements and diverted it to other routes. ChinarCorps of the Indian Army has shared that due to the spread of the pandemic, theforces after aversion of the possible attack have also carried out asanitisation drive.
