Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu have been making headlines lately due to his 'Pakistan connections'. On Thursday, Sidhu again became the talk of the due to a photograph, in which he was seen posing with Hafiz Saeed's aide, during his visit to Pakistan for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor..

Volcano erupted after "pro-Khalistan leader" Gopal Singh Chawla posted a picture with Sidhu on his Facebook account on Thursday morning.

Twitter was also taken by a storm after news of the photograph spread, after which people have called out Sidhu for allegedly being 'double face' and "hurting the sentiments of Indians" as he posed with Chawla .

"They showered love so much there. Every day ten thousands pictures were clicked. Among them who is Chawla or Cheema that I do not know," Sidhu said after returning from the neighbouring nation.

Sidhu was strongly criticised by the opposition parties for the photograph. The Shiromani Akali Dal Thursday asked the Punjab cabinet minister whether "India is his priority or not".
