Swami Nithyananda flees country

Self-styled godman SwamiNithyananda has fled the country. He was booked in a criminal case related to hisashram in Gujarat.

On Wednesday, an FIR wasregistered against him on the charges of kidnapping and wrongful confinement ofchildren to make them collect donations from followers in the name of runninghis ashram in Gujarat.

Also, another case of rape was registered against the controversial guru in Karnataka. Ahmedabad (Rural) SP RV Asari said Nithyananda has fled abroad, and if required, the Gujarat police will seek his custody through proper channel.

It may be mentioned herethat Swami Nithyananda had claimed that physicist Albert Einstein's theory ofspecial relativity is incorrect and said, "E is not equal to mc square".
