Train derails in Bihar; 6 killed

In a shocking accident nine bogies of the Seemanchal Express derailed in Sahadai Buzurg in Bihar that claimed lives of six people. More than 50 people also suffered severe injuries during the accident. The accident took place in the wee hours of Sunday.

Five coaches including three sleepers, one general and one AC were among the derailed bogies. CPRO of East Central Railways, has confirmed the accident.

A railway accident medical team is at the site and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has also reached the spot to carry out the rescue and relief operations.
