Ahead of the Lok Sabha session, Shiv Sena chief UddhavThackeray along with 18 newly-elected MPs of his party visited Ayodhya onSunday to offer prayers at the makeshift shrine of Ram Lalla (or infant Ram)temple and demanded ordinance for Ram temple in Ayodhya. Uddhav's son AdityaThackeray also accompanied him to Ayodhya.

Reiterating his stand on the construction of Ram temple, Thackeray has said that his party will back any ordinance for building the temple. "The government is strong now and we all are together. Modi ji has the courage to take the decision. If the government takes the decision to build Ram Temple there will be no one to stop it. We strongly believe that a temple will be constructed at the earliest," Thackeray said.

"From tomorrow Lok Sabha session will begin, so before entering parliament all Shiv Sena parliamentarians have come here to take the blessings of Ram Lalla," Uddhav Thackeray quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

It may be mentioned here that the title suit over the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid site is being heard by the Supreme Court. In March, the SC had suggested that the dispute should be settled through mediation.
