UP: Pilot Dies In Plane Crash, Three Other Parachute Out

In an unfortunate incident on Monday morning, a pilot was killed when his trainer aircraft carrying 3 other people crashed near Kushwapurawa village of Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident happened at around 11am.

While two people jumped out of the aircraft with the help of a parachute, one person is yet to be found. Search for the missing is on.

According to a police official, people in the village saw the aircraft took a deep dive all of a sudden. Upon impact, the aircraft broke into several pieces on the ground.

The debris was removed and the body was taken out with the help of the police, who arrived at the spot on receiving the information from the locals.

The aircraft belonged to the Centre-run flying-training institute Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Akademi (IGRUA), located in Amethi.
