Yudh-Abhyas 2019 begins between India and USA

These days a squad of Indian soldiers is showing their battle skills in America. In the war exercise-2019, which started on 5 September, the Indian Army along with the US Army is making its combat art more effective. During this time, Indian and American soldiers were seen dancing to the marching song of the Assam Regiment.

The joint military exercise, which began Sept.5 at the Joint Base Lewis McCord near Washington, is taking a variety ofmilitary actions to understand each other's organizational structure and combatprocesses.

The exercise will last until 18 September with an emphasis on common warfare, action against terrorism and mutual coordination. It is the largest joint military training and defense cooperation between India and the United States. In this war exercise, the armies of the two countries learn from each other's expertise, planning, and operational implementation experiences.

The main objective of this exercise is toincrease efficiency in counter-terrorism operations between the armies of thetwo countries. This is the 15th edition of the exercise. This combat exerciseprovides an opportunity to the armed forces of both countries to integratetraining at the battalion level with joint planning at the Brigade level.
