Everester Tarun Saikia lost both kidneys

Ace Mountaineer and Everester Tarun Saikia,53, lost both his kidney and his condition has been critical and in dialysis' support since least fortnight.

Tarun was in his pink of health and was training for future mountaineering trip when he was accidentally diagnosed with the Kidney failure. He is now waiting for kidney transplant and now on regular dialysis.

Tarun Saikia climbed Mt Everest on May 18,2015 and his fellow mountaineer Manish Deka climbed on May 21. Both were hailed as heroes of Assam as they were the first one from Assam to set foot on the roof of the world.

However the huge medical bill has been a cause of great concern and several NGOs have come forward to help him and also opened online fund raising effort.   One of them is , Bordoisila Foundation (registered,80 G and 12 A tax exemption certificate holder )  which requests everyone to extend a helping hand to Taun, who has once made India proud.
