The man, who took Indian Football to the world stage, made a detour today and visited Guwahati to launch the new FIFA accredited footballs by VECTOR X.

Indian football legend Bhaichung Bhutia was in the city today and launched new VECTOR X footballs at Silver Sports, a sports accessories shop located in Pan Bazar, at 2.30 PM.

Bhaichung Bhutia did not hesitate to interact with his fans and posed for numerous selfies. He also met with winners of a contest through Facebook held by the company.

An elated Bhaichung Bhutia said, "India needs more players like Sunil Chhetri to take Indian football forward. Along with the rest of the country, I see a lot of potential and talent in the Northeast. The future of this region in terms of Football is really bright".

Following the launch event, Bhaichung Bhutia went to the Sports Authority of India practice ground where he interacted with the players out there and practiced with them.
