Amid speculation of his international retirement, World Cup-winning former Indian skipper MS Dhoni on Saturday reportedly made himself "unavailable" for the coming West Indies Tour. However, he ruled out immediate retirement plans. The development comes a day ahead of the selectors meet to pick the squads for the series.

According to reports, Dhoni has informed BCCI that he will take a two-month break from the game and will serve his paramilitary regiment. It may be mentioned here that Dhoni is an Honorary Lieutenant Colonel of Territorial Army.

"MS Dhoni is not retiring from cricket right now. He is taking a two-month sabbatical to serve his paramilitary regiment which he had committed much earlier. We have now intimated his decision to skipper Virat Kohli and chairman of selectors MSK Prasad," a senior BCCI official was quoted as saying by PTI on Saturday.
