FIFA World Cup 2018 Update | Brazil leaves Mexico behind, Belgium snatches victory in the 94th minute

Brazil and Belgium have proceeded to the Quarter finals of the FIFA World Cup 2018 after two very exciting matches on Monday.

In the first match, Brazil slammed Mexico 2-0, with two goals in the second half scored by Neymar and Roberto Firmino.

In the second Round of 16 face-off of the day, Belgium defeated Japan 3-2, with the first two goals of the match being scored by the Japanese team (Genki Haraguchi and Takashi Inui).Belgium took over the reins at the 69th minute when they scored their first goal and snatched the winner with a strike in the 94th minute to break Japanese hearts.

Belgium's goals were scored by Jan Vertonghen, Marouane Fellaini, and Nacer Chadli.

Brazilian star Neymar and Belgian captain Eden Hazard were declared Man of the Match in their respective games.The Brazil-Belgium quarter final showdown match will be played on July 6 at 11:30 pm.
