Hyderabad secures effortless win against Assam in Col CK Nayadu Trophy

Pratidin Bureau

Assam is definitely not having a great year in cricket as they lost another high profile game, this time in the Col CK Nayadu Trophy 2018-19. Hyderabad had an easy victory by 9 wickets against the visiting Assam side in the Round V of the Elite Group A and B. The match was being held at the Gymkhana Ground, Hyderabad.

Earlier, Hyderabad had won the toss and asked Assam to bat first who could only manage a paltry 118 in the 1st innings. Hyderabad also did not have a very fruitful 1st innings as they too were bundled out for just 130, courtesy some amazing bowling by Dharani Rabha who picked up 5 wickets. Hyderabad were set an easy target of 180 to win which they easily achieved in 62.4 overs losing just 1 wicket.
