India defeat New Zealand by 90 runs

India defeated New Zealand by 90 runs in the second One Day International (ODI) match at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui to take a 2-0 lead in 5-ODI series on Saturday.

Batting first, India put up 324/4 in their 50 overs. Chasing the mammoth target the Kiwi batting order collapsed and could manage to reach 234 runs in 40.2 overs.

Opener Rohit Sharma contributing 87 runs while Shikhar Dhawan made 66 runs. M S Dhoni remained unbeaten on 48 runs.

Kuldeep shined with four wickets in his kitty in his 10 overs grinding the Kiwi's to dust.
