Pratidin Bureau

TeamIndia's official apparel sponsor, Nike, on Friday formally launched the orange-bluejersey for India's World Cup match against England to be held on Sunday. TeamIndia will debut their 'away jersey' against the host, so it doesn't clash withEngland's blue jersey.

"The ODI and Away Kit designs launched this year are inspired by the young new generation of India and the fearless spirit of the national teams," said the Nike in their official statement.

It may be mentioned here that pictures of the jersey had been doing the rounds of social media platforms but neither BCCI nor Nike had mane any official confirmation.

Also there has been a controversy over the colour of the away kit as some people have argued against using the colour orange as it is associated with a particular political party.
