It’s Lajong FC vs. East Bengal in semi-final of U-18 Youth League

Pratidin Bureau

Lajong FC is set to face East Bengal in the second semi-final of the ongoing 2017-18 U-18 Youth League Footbal tournament at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong on Thursday.

Lajong Coach Bobby Nongbet has his fingers crossed as the team has qualified for the U-18 Youth League semifinals for the first time and hopes to reach the finals.

The players are excited by the opportunity presented in the match.

On the other hand, it is East Bengal's second appearance in the U-18 Youth League semi-finals. The team's technical director Ranjan Chowdhury does not want to let this opportunity go as they attempt to reach their second consecutive final.

The face off is expected to be a nerve wrecking match as both the teams are arguably the best in the competition; however, only one will reach one step closer to victory.
