Pratidin Bureau

India's top men's archer Atanu Das beats London 2012 Olympic gold medalist Korea's Oh Jinhyek by 6-5 in 1/16 eliminations of men's individual archery at Tokyo Olympics.

Atanu came through two tense matches as he put behind the disappointment of the men's team event to showcase his class at the Yumenoshima Final Field in Tokyo.

Cheered on by World No. 1 and his wife Deepika Kumari, Atanu Das hit the bulls eye to eliminate Oh Jinhyek in a nerve-wracking shoot-off in his Round of 32 match that was tied at 5-5 at the end of 5 sets.
