Pratidin Bureau

Team India all-rounder Vijay Shankar is fit and fine and there is no injury scar, revealed scan reports on Saturday.

Vijay Shankar had to leave the field after a hit on his right forearm while he was facing net bowler Khaleel Ahmed at a training session on Friday.

"Vijay Shankar was hit on his right forearm during practice on Friday. He underwent scans and no fracture has been detected. BCCI Medical Team is aiding him in his recovery," BCCI posted on their twitter handle.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder, however, did not take part in India's first warm-up match against New Zealand.

Vijay Shankar is also likely to skip the second warm-up game against Bangladesh on Tuesday (May 28) at Cardiff.
