Blast Near Kabul University

An explosion took place outside Kabul University entrance inAfghanistan on Friday, killing at least 2 people and injuring 10 others.

Afghanistan Health Ministry spokesman Wahid Mayar said that the two bodies and 10 injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.

No militant group has yet claimed responsibility of theblast.

A student at the university campus said the explosionoccurred when a number of students were waiting near the campus gate and weregetting ready to attend an examination.

An eyewitness said a vehicle caught fire after theexplosion.

Kabul Police spokesman Faramarz Firdaw said that a policeteam defused a second bomb that was placed close to the explosion site.
